Sena 10s cannot update

I have a Sena 10s that will not connect to my computer so I can update the firmware. I have a red light on when I plug it in, but does not connect.

  I just had this problem on my 2 units.  Tried about 4 different cables, then finally found the original Sena right-angle micro USB cable, and it worked!

  The SENA cable seems to be a better fit.
