HD Freewire Infotainment Sound Quality Issues
I have a 2010 Ultra Limited and have the Freewire connected. I have an issue with the sound quality of the bikes audio. It lacks bass all together and is way too tinny. I have adjusted the bass all the way up and the treble all the way down but the quality is so very poor. Im using the GT Air 10U as my headset and with my phone paired as well...I get excellent quality sound from that phone. Anything off the bikes audio is just bad. CB is an exception as that comes across ok. More so any of the music is just impossible to listen to. Running the latest firmware to date on all Sena products. Is this a common issue or am I actually having an issue with my install?

Kevin, can you please be more specific on the audio that you're listening to from the bike?

Chris - I will do a more comprehensive test but for sure the FM feed is bad. I will try CD/CB. CB is probably less effected. AUX to the head unit on the bike from my iPhone for MP3 is also effected.
My work arounds so far are to use the the 10u as a mic for my CB and run all audio from the bike over ext speakers. I will sometimes run the MP3 from my iPhone via BT to the 10u. The FM of the 10u works well too but all of that eliminates the need for freewire as Im not able to feed the helmet with my bike audio with any quality...and just use it as a mic only for the CB.I have also ran a new audio port on the bike to see if it was the port ...still have the same issue.
In addition - there is a side talk that happen when I use the CB. I have that feature turned off in the settings on the 10u but it still happens when you try and talk on the CB. Make talking very awkward.
