I'm assuming when you say "music sharing" you are talking about sharing your music with another Sena user.  If so the answer is no.  If you want to use intercom you have to manually select intercom, have your conversation then switch off intercom and unit will go back to music sharing.  I believe that is covered in the manual and a Sena video

Yes I am sharing with my passenger (wife).  I think I have watched most of the videos that pertain to this and never saw anything that specifically stated it wouldn't.  So I guess if a person was music sharing with someone, and on a multi-person intercom, they would not be able to get your attention through the headsets, correct?  Or is it even possible to do both at the same time?

Either party to the music sharing can discontinue music and go to intercom.  I don't think you can share beyond one party and as far as a person outside the music sharing duo, having them contact you while you are music sharing is a question I don't have an answer for.  I would suggest you try this out with all parties while you are standing (not riding) around and see if you can do music sharing with one party and having the other parties try and connect.  I kinda doubt it - music sharing is more for a rider/pillion thing.  You may be on to something though - perhaps a suggestion for another feature set, although it is already confusing enough with all the possible permutations currently available.

You could be right, I wish we could both pair up to the same device (freewire) and work just like it was not sharing.  I think that would be the simplest way  You would kind of think that would be under the multi-tasking part.  Thanks for the information.

If you're not so fixed on listening to the same music, you can definitely do a multi person intercom with everyone listening to their own music using multitasking. The tricky part I've found is the sensitivity setting.  To much and the music ducks down for every little noise and too little, you have to yell to get the intercom to get it to engage.

that may be the answer, she can listen to her phone and I the bike radio.  I won't mess with the phone while riding.  like I said earlier it would be nice if the sena would treat both headsets like separate entities and pair separately to the freewire.
