Best Spider config (rider/pillion/group)

What would be the best configuration for our setup (all using Sena Spider)?....    A rider to pillion that want an open channel to talk just to each other.   Then an a third rider with a Sena Spider, and we want to be able to press a button so that all three people link together, then able to cancel that connection, so that it drops back to just the rider and pillion in communication with each other.

  that's a great question, and hopefully I have the answer you are looking for.

  we recently did a firmware up date on the 2022 edition spider ST1 and RT1 to include a new feature called Mesh Out Reach.
  
  When a rider in a current Mesh Intercom channel or a current Group Mesh activates the “Mesh Reach-Out” feature, all riders who are not in Mesh Intercom and are within about 100 meters will hear the voice prompt “Mesh Intercom requested” to notify them that they should turn Mesh Intercom on. Once a nearby rider hears the prompt and turns Mesh Intercom on then they will be in the last channel they were in or the Group Mesh they were in.

  The “Mesh Reach-Out” feature can be activated on the headset or with the touch of a button on the Sena Motorcycles app.

  
  Note: The “Mesh Reach-Out” feature needs to be enabled through the Sena Motorcycles App or through the Sena Device Manager.
  
  Compatible Products:

  Motorcycle: 50S, 50R, 50C, SRL-Mesh, SRL-EXT, Impulse, Stryker, SPIDER ST1-10/RT1 (2022 version) and 30K 
  Outdoor: Expand Mesh
  
  unfortunately, if you have a pre 2022 device, this feature will not be available.

   

  so you will have to use the group mesh feature. 
  
  Group Mesh is a closed group intercom function that allows users to
  join, leave, or rejoin a group intercom conversation without pairing each
  headset. Users can freely communicate with each other in the same
  private group in Group Mesh.
  For closed intercom conversations using Mesh Intercom, a Group
  Mesh needs to be created by the users. When users create a private
  group in Group Mesh by Mesh Grouping, the headset automatically
  switches from Open Mesh to Group Mesh. Up to 24 users can all be
  connected in each private group.
