Spider ST1 won’t turn on

Anyone know what I need to do to get it to turn on. Tried charging and turning on as normal but won’t turn on. Stuck. Any help greatly appreciated

  this is most likely battery hardware related.

  Good people.

  I have just had same issue on my unit.

  Working great for close to 3 year. After some hours riding, it told me battery was low, so collected to the charger and while the red light will come on, it will not power up. 
  Tried the little reset button, no joy.
  Suggestions welcome.

  Good people,

  I took the chance and removed the 5 screws on the back of my ST1. I had to remove the jog wheel from the front, but the back came of with a little wiggle.

  I was then able to disconnect the battery, leave the unit for 20 seconds and then reconnect the battery.

  I reconnected the charging cable left it for 5 minutes and then attempted to power on. Bingo. Powered up ok.

  The unit showed 4% on the Sena app on my phone, so I will leave it on change overnight.
