Updating Firmware and getting started SRL-MESH

Recieved my SRL-Mesh today and after a not so easy install, I have been in front of my computer trying to update my firmware for hours!!! The instructions make no sense. It tells you to shut it off, plug it in nd connect. Thats impossible. Then I see an official answer on updating over wifi. OK, Except my wifi adaptar does not connect to wifi eier. I found the instructions to reset the wifi... That dont work either. I got the violet lights to come on for a second, But they go right back off. I only have a solid red light. You would think for the price I paid that this would actually work. I will be calling JPCycles to return in the morning. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SPEND AN ENTIRE DAY GETTING IT TO WORK.

  The SRL-Mesh firmware update process is quite straightforward using the Sena Device Manager.

  1. Start with the device powered off.
  2. Plug a USB-C cable into your SRL-Mesh, then connect it to your desktop/laptop (the order doesn't matter).
  3. Start the Sena Device Manager app on your desktop/laptop.
  4. Press "Next," and your computer should recognize the device. If it doesn't, this might be due to computer-related security settings.
  5. Once recognized, you'll be presented with the update screen to proceed with the firmware update.

  Please note that the device should be off during the firmware update, as firmware updates typically require all electronics to be powered off. This is similar to how your phone shuts off to update.

  I had the same problem with SRL-Mesh firmware update with my neotech2 helmet. Using Apple Mac I could not use the Sena usb that came with it. The one with the lights on the usb itself did not work. I used another usb-c cable (from my usb Keyboard for my computer) and it worked fine! So your usb cable provided by Sena did not work!
