Reset after Firmware update?
I recently updated to v4.2.1 a month ago. I have had a few bugs since then. Sound quality from helmet to helmet is a lot better though..
This past weekend, I shut it off while stopping for lunch to save battery. After lunch, it wouldn't turn back on. I did a firmware restore when I got home. Seemed to work fine.
I was advised anytime after doing a firmware update, I should do a factory reset. So I did and it and it sent my SMH10 back to v4.1.1 Kinda went backwards. Is that what is recommended? Did I do something wrong?

Hi Biraz340,
Performing a factory reset will not revert your firmware back. A firmware update is permanent and only another firmware update can change the version of your firmware. Now that you have done a factory reset, try to use your SMH10 to see if you still have the power on issue.

Thanks, however when I plugged it back in, it showed that the current version was set back to 4.1.1.
I put the 4.2.1 back on.

Phone is able to charge on ANY charger I've given it so far: usb/computer, Garmin chargers, and a slew of other 12v car adapters. The only problem is the Sena 12v car adapters. They only work on the SMH10s and NONE of my other devices like Webcric site working on all device. I agree with your conclusion that they're putting out a very low amperage - just enough for the SMH10 and my other usb devices need more. Too bad they can't be used globally, like all the other adapters I've tried.
