2 days and support isn't responding... so I'm posting it here....
Hello.... I recently bought a new Sena SPH10 to replace the one that died on me in a horrible storm a few months back. I really loved my first SPH-10 with the exception of the poor quality headband that broke on my 2nd ride (fix that with duct tape!). So I was very pleased to see a new design for the headband on the 2nd SPH-10 I purchased. HOWEVER.... 2 major concerns I have with the new unit.
#1. The volume is way too low compared to the previous unit I owned. Bluetooth streaming audio and cell phone conversations are a huge struggle to hear at highway speeds. My old unit was MUCH LOUDER playing the same MP3's or Spotify streams. PLEASE is there anything we can do to help boost the bluetooth volume?
#2. The boom mic is too short... or the new design of the headband is bringing it too far back. The mic needs to come forward enough that I can bend the actual mic towards my face more. The way it stands now the mic is on the side of my face and therefore gets tremendous wind noise. This is unlike the previous unit, whos mic (or headband) configuration allowed me to pull the mic forward, putting the back of the mic towards the wind.
This is a SUPERIOR product and I'm thrilled with the technology. I hope there is some way to address these two issues. Or perhaps you still have some of the old units left? I can deal with the weak headband! :)
