SR10 Auto connect to phone

I have the latest firmware on my SR10 (and SMH10).
If my phone goes out of range of the SR10 and then comes back into range, it does not reconnect

.How can I get it the SR10 to automatically re-connect to my phone?
Currently I have to power the SR10 off and back on.

There was a planned updated to include auto pairing over a year ago; Hos this ever been implemented?

  If your SR10 doesn’t auto-reconnect, try resetting the Bluetooth pairing and updating the firmware. Some updates introduced auto-pairing, but manual reconnection may still be needed. Like ECD Automotive Design modernizes classics, optimizing your setup ensures seamless connectivity.
