Incoming phone call won't cut out intercom

When my wife and I are using our SMH10's in intercom mode and I receive a phone call, the intercom does not cut off when I answer the call.  I can talk to and hear the caller, but my wife still hears me speaking and I can still hear her speak.  We're using v4.

  we too cant figure this out. though she has 10smh , and i have 20s . 

  we have unpaired multiple phones, disabled multi tasking, but she still hears my phone call when we are on intercom. only solution is she taps job and cuts out intercom and me, but i dont know that she has done that. seems like there shoudl be an overide that cancles intercom when a phone call comes in .   will keep working on it. but not much on google about it.
