GP10 Connect and Disconnect from Headset
Right now, when I turn on my GP10, my SMH10 is connected only to the GP10. I cannot figure out a way to disconnect. There are times that I want to connect to the GP10 similar to the way I would connect the intercom to another rider and disconnect just as easy. Is it possible to connect and disconnect to the GP10 without turning the unit on and off? Thanks!

Hi Bob,
The only way to disconnect the GP10 is by turning off the GP10.

Is this true with the newer Sena headsets as well like the 20s, etc?

Yes it is same with the 20S

this realy needs to be addressed somehow since the battery life while connected isnt exaclty overwhelmingand is jsut wasted if you dont record anything.
filed a ticket concerning this issue allready and they gave me the tip that tapping jogdial while the gp10 is connected will/might disconnect it. this worked the first time i tried it but acted rather strange when a seconds headset (none sena) was paired. sometimes the gp10 just reconnected after a few seconds, sometimes it doesnt. so i deleted all pairings and tried it again with just the GP10 paired and this time tapping the jogdial didnt disconnected it at all.
honestly, the pack is a realy simple yet usefull device, but not beeing able to disconnect it (using a sena headset) makes it utter useless for all motorcycle riders. so pleeeeaaaaease invest some time in a firmware upgrade to fix this issue :)
