SMH10/GP10 Problems
I have both the SMH10 and GP10 units to do video blogs on my motorcycle. I was getting virtually no sound on downloads so I flashed and reset both units, reloaded the latest firmware and now the sound is better. However, after that I started getting popping noises through the speakers when the GP10 unit was turned on (as well as through my Garmin züma 665 unit for XM, GPS and phone) which I never had before. Also, now I don't get Ultra HD voice recording when pushing the pairing button which I had before. Any thoughts as what to do? I am waiting on a response from Sena on the latest concerns (popping & no UHD) but was hoping someone out there had a fix for this.

I am very interested in this issue as I am having the same problem with the cracks/pops and no voice prompt/no UHD mode :(

Seems to be a consistent problem, Jennifer, at least with my setup. Sena finally said that my GP10 was faulty so they sent me a new one. It seems be be working right now but for how long is anybody's guess. The setup worked fine initially then I had the problems. They had me flash the units with the firmware after clearing all memory, etc. I'll be testing everything again to see I the problems start up again. We'll see how it goes but I'm not real confident that it won't come back. I guess I should have gotten the S20 initially but that had problems as well. 0 -
Having the same issue here..
same kind of cracks/pops.. and no voice prompts are UHD mode. This is with a sena S20

Fixed it!
It turned out that the gopro backpack was paired as a phone, not as an intercom.
So now I paired it as an intercom (jog dial on the Sena 20S + pairing on gopro) and I now have voice prompts

Good deal. I have mine working OK as I paired it using the jog dial instead of the phone bottom per the instructions. Pops & crackling seemed to have stopped & I get the UHD notification. It was a new GP10 that Sena sent me though. 0
