SMH10 - Possible to have "one-way" pairing?

My partner was able to open the intercom, both of us could talk and hear.  Every time I tried to open the intercom I got two low beeps and no intercom.  Her unit knew they were paired, mine did not.  I remember clearing all pairings when I was first setting up my unit (had trouble with GPS and phone, so started over), so I paired the two SMH10 units again, and that worked.  But does that make sense, that when only one of the units thinks they are paired it can still open the intercom?

  Yep.  When you delete a pairing but your partner does not, that is what happens.  You both have to have an active pairing with each intercom for it to work properly.  Don't know the technical explanation but it is what it is.
