SMH5 failed

I have a pair of SMH5's I've used over the past year. One of the units will not turn on despite being fully charged. Could you offer any advice at all to resurrect the unit?

  I have the exact same problem with my SMH5, I used it once for my trip to Amerivespa in June and it hasn't worked since.  Have you have any luck with it since you posted this?

  Hi, I have, I left the unit to fully discharge, recharged it and it now works, maybe this could help you?

  From the manual:

  Reset

  When the SMH5 is not working properly or is in faulty status for any reason, you may reset by pushing the pin-hole reset button at the back of the headset main unit. Insert  a paper clip into the reset pin-hole and press the reset button for a second with light pressure. The SMH5 will be switched off after which time, you have to turn the system back on and try again. However, this will not restore the headset to factory default settings.
