Left speaker not working

The left speaker on my SMH-10 hasn't worked in a while. I assumed that the problem was either the speaker itself or the speaker wire. I had contacted Sena and was told that it can only be fixed by buying a new clamp set. I did that and installed it today but the left speaker is still not working. What else could cause this?

  I'm having the same issue. They sent me a new set of speakers but the problem still exists. I just submitted a follow-up support ticket.

  Guys-Same issue here on three different helmets that I use the same SMH-10 transmitter (no sound from left speaker). Check the pins on the back of the unit, they individually push in when mating to the base. One of the pins on my unit would hang up (not fully disengage) when each pin was tested (pushed in). Worked it in and out a few times until it was free, and this resolved my issue. On my SHM-10, second pin on the top row counting right to left.

  I figured out the issue. Try using the bracket they send that has the stick on tape to your helmet instead of the metal piece that that clamps on the helmet. for some reason the metal clamp pulls the contacts apart between the clamp unit and the main unit. I have been sent multiple parts with no correction and just stumbled on this by accident. For some reason when you tighten the screws down with the metal clamp it puts pressure on the clamp unit and doesn't allow a good connection. Give this a try it worked for me and now a very happy Sena user with both speakers working all the time.

  The wire going into the left speaker was cutting in and out on the sound and as I kept a steady pull pressure up where the wire comes out of the speaker it would work continually. For some reason when the wire is slack going into the speaker it shorts out. You must find a way to secure the wire with tension on it for it to work. Had the same problem in both units I purchased.

  hi
  my sena 10c have contacts problem since a bought it.
  no microphone, no right speaker , left speake sometime work and sometime not.
  try to get service but nothing.
  sena center service in my country saying its my fault and i did not use the product properly.
  this is the first and the last "sena" for me.

  My brand new SRL 3 cost an arm and a leg. Right speaker doesn’t work, microphone works at times. Thinking of returning it. Unhappy customer
