Intercom paring 10
I have a 10U and 10R and each time I turn them on they have to be manually parred. Is this correct? Shouldn't they find each other like my iPhone does?
I had a Cardo set for years and you only have to par them once, then overtime you turn them both on they find each other.
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
You only need to pair them once. When you power them on they do not automatically connect for intercom. You have to press the middle button on the 10R to connect with the 10U.
When you ride alone you don't want your headset to automatically be looking for the other headset when you first turn it on.
You can download the user guides for your headset because they don't come with a paper manual in the box - http://www.sena.com/support/documents/

It sounds like you're talking about pairing Bluetooth communication devices, specifically the Sena 10U and Sena 10R, which are popular motorcycle communication systems. Here's some information and clarification for your situation:
Pairing Behavior of Sena 10U and 10R
-
Manual Pairing Each Time:
- If your Sena devices require manual pairing every time you turn them on, it’s not typical. These devices are designed to retain pairing information and automatically reconnect to previously paired devices (like your iPhone or another Sena device) when they are turned on and within range.
-
Expected Behavior:
- Once you pair the 10U and 10R for the first time, they should remember each other. When both devices are powered on, they should automatically reconnect, just like your iPhone does with previously paired Bluetooth devices.
- The same applies to intercom pairing. Once two devices are paired in intercom mode, they should automatically reconnect in intercom mode when turned on, as long as they're within range. Like nbi clearance website
