The Expand headset's controls are currently on the ear piece. If wearing a half helmet by HJC, the controls would not be accessible. By incorporating  the boom Mic like the 3S-B, the Expand headset would be ideal for the HJC 1/2 helmets such as the HD 98212-10A and other variations.
