Out of range beeping is painfully loud?

Whenever I am out of range from the paired unit, my unit starts beeping really loudly in my in-ear monitors... painfully loud. How do I turn that down? I obviously turned the jog wheel, but that just turns down my music but not the beeping.

  The beep when you reach full volume is also eardrum splittingly loud as are the confirmation beeps when pressing the phone button with the volume turned up....huge issue.
