Unfortunately it is not possible to use the Speed Dial feature if you have a phone paired to the 20S using Second Mobile Phone pairing. Instead, you can pair your phone to the Zumo and that way you can make and answer phone calls using the Zumo.

Ok. But I not always have the nav on my bike, so that isn't an option. Then I leave it as it is for only answering phone calls.
Is this also said in the manual?
If so then I must have missed it.
    Thanks!

If the GPS is not connected to the headset then the Speed Dial can be used while it is still paired by Second Mobile Phone Pairing.

    That's great!

So if I use my GPS with my phone paired to it I can make and answer phone calls via my Garmin GPS, and if I'm not using my GPS then the Speed Dial function will work because I also paired my phone via Second Mobile device?

    Thanks for the support!

Yes that is correct. When your GPS is paired to the 20S using Mobile Phone pairing then it is considered to be the primary phone and when your phone is connected to the 20S as the secondary phone then the Speed Dial feature is not available. However, when the GPS is disconnected (i.e. turned off) and your phone is connected to the 20S as the secondary phone, then you will able to use the Speed Dial feature.

Alex, you should be aware that if your phone is connected to the Garmin. . . and the Garmin to the Sena as "1st phone", the Garmin will have priority over every other function except "Ambient".

That doesn't sound so bad; but here's what actually happens:  Any time the Garmin alerts, gives driving directions, etc., it will disconnect you from intercom.  It takes priority over everything.  A simple BEEP and you're disconnected from your intercom friends.  And sometimes, they don't come back no matter what we're all trying.   If you go off-route to get gas or food and need to talk to your intercom buddies, you can't.  The GPS  is being too chatty, blocking the intercom function.

I've asked Sena to please give us the ability to set the priorities.  I want my "2nd" phone to have first priority (for my iPhone) and "1st Phone" to be the Zumo with stereo sound.

Hi Ken. I also listen to the music from my Garmin in the correct sound quality, which means that I had to connect it  via 1st phone.

I didn't test the Sena 20S with intercom en GPS working at the same time, so now I know this can be another issue with the 20S!

Will test it myself and put results over here.

    @Sena:

I did test the option to use Speed Dial wen using phone on "2nd Phone" position  and not having the Garmin GPS connected but still in the Sena on "1st Phone" position but it didn't work!

Couldn't use Speed Dial function. My phone didn't react to the command.

Alex, I tried the GPS as the 2nd phone.  Music sounds horrible.  XM radio sounds horrible.  Not only was it monaural, but it was also extremely distorted with the volume up loud enough to be heard.  It was totally unacceptable.

With the GPS connected as 1st phone, I connected my phone to the 2nd Sena phone for a test.  Didn't try the speed dial.  Disappointed to learn from Sena that the Sena speed dial won't work in that configuration.  BUT, I did use voice commands to dial.  The phone picks up the voice commands and dials for me.  The only problem was that the iPhone misinterpreted my voice dialing commands and dialed the wrong person; and I couldn't stop it before their phone was ringing.  But I have a work-around for that by naming the few people I'd dial while riding ridiculous names that can't be misinterpreted.

My preference is to have the iPhone connected as the second phone; but give it the highest priority.  I use the phone seldom on the motorcycle, but when I do, I want it to blank out all other features.  I use the Zumo the most, for music, audio books, weather alerts, and driving instructions; but want it to have the same priority as intercom with the shared audio.
