20s, SR10, and universal intercom

Hey, I have a friend that got another brand of headset. I realize that universal intercom should work but what if I'm using the SR10 for a radar detector? Doesn't the SR10 use the 2nd HFP profile that is needed by universal intercom?

  WTH? I just came back on this forum to research this and was about to ask the question again then my old question pops up unanswered. Help please.

  Can I use both pair to my SR10 and my friend's other brands of headsets using Universal Intercom?
