What does double low-high beep mean?

20S: What is the meaning of a double beep, low followed by high? This occurs when intercom is open with one other rider. No other connections, no phone, no GPS.

  Yes, I think so - here is what I posted on ADVrider:

  I was getting a very annoying double beep - low to high at random, but often when listening to anything. It's the same signal you get when you reach full volume on the knob. I believe this is the smart volume control function hitting the upper volume limit. When I use lower volume knob volume settings this beep does not occur - i.e. the active volume control never hits the upper limit. This all works very well with earbuds (my preference) but not so much with the helmet speakers which tend to require higher base volume setting.

  Thank you for the response Mark. Sounds like that is probably the issue. I will lower the volume on my next ride and see if that resolves it.
