Music not quieting when using audio multi-tasking during intercom call

Ok, so the audio multi-tasking used to work perfect for me and a friend of mine up until firmware v1.6.1.  We could have an intercom conversation while both listening to music, and when anyone talked, the music volume would lower and then return to normal volume again once we stopped talking.  However, as of firmware v1.6.1 and now currently with v1.6.2, the music on either of our headsets will not go quieter when someone talks. Also, music and intercom volume will not adjust separately.  Turning up or down the volume on the music will also make the intercom louder or quieter.  Here's what we have tried:

1. Trying lower settings on the overlay sensitivity

2. Doing a factory reset

3. Doing a fault reset (that little button on the back)

Nothing has worked.  I have submitted a ticket to Sena online support and I've only gotten the generic responses of trying the factory and fault resets, which I had told them I already tried.  Anyone else experiencing these symptoms?

  Update: The fix is to disable "navigation app support" in the Sena app.  My thanks to the person that made another post similar to mine in 2015 and made this discovery.
