50C setup pathetic information
I'm ready to toss this 50C piece of junk in the trash. WiFi adapter won't connect. Firmware flash utility won't find device. A full day and the camera might as well not exist. Can't upgrade anything or connect to anything other than my phone bluetooth. Oh and tech support only works M-F. This whole expensive and time wasting situtation has me so angry I'm seeing red. All I can say about Sena and their products and documentation... SUCKS!!!
BTW, I've tried mulitlple phones and PCs and Macs. The crap doesn't. I suspect the documentation is wrong, but who know I'v probably got a lemon.

I must apoligize for my earlier ourburst. The product seems fine. I'm sure it's just the case of hardware and software developments outpacing help documentation updates.
The device seem to work fine including the camera. The 50C already has built-in Wi-Fi to allow high-speed communication with the camera app. This is where the problem starts in setup. The Wi-Fi adpter is essentially a custom comms device designed to connect the 50C USB-C port to the Sena app via Wi-Fi for the explicit purpose of firmware update. I'm still unable to complete Wi-Fi adapter setup. It always fails trying to set my local Wi-Fi login. Without the Wi-Fi adapter and the PC software failing to connect via USB, I still don't know if my device firmware got updated. The 50C has at least three radios and it new... Surely... I expect bluetooth OTA update via BT or built-in Wi-Fi. I wonder if anyone ever update 50C firmware with the Wi-Fi adapter???

50c is a waste of money. My experience with it is camera takes great quality photos and videos if and when you can get it to work, which for me is about once out of every 75 times I try turning it on.
Audio quality for Harmen Karmen speakers, sound quality is decent but volume is extremely low even with it turned up in the app to 100. Often can not hear lyrics.
Device will not connect to wifi to take their software updates, have tried probably 30 times and hard reset the device just as many times.
Device will not take software update , when using the cable it came with. Basically state not recognized unable to make connection. I have tried updating the firmware on a chromebook, 3 different pcs with different versions of Windows and on 2 Macs. None of them will recognize the device, purchased a 3rd party cable and same issues.
Look at the forums customers leave one negative review after another about this product and these issues, Have spoken to their tech support on the phone 8 times and gotten no where with them or any support other than try hard resetting the device.
I have a chain of their emails all I am getting now is please send us a receipt of purchase, it has been almost 2 years, I bought one of your most expensive devices and expected quality. I do not still have a copy of your receipt.
How about Sena owns up to the quality of their products and takes care of the customers. I have never had these issues with my two previous devices. I am looking for a new helmet now and will just purchase an new headset unit and walk away from Sena.
