SC2 just melted down
Hi everyone, this is a two-part post as I also have a question since I purchased my SC2.
I'm a long-term Sena customer, as I already had a 10C, a 50C, and now a SC2. I'm riding everyday to go to work, so I'm used to plug my helmet every evening when I come back home, and unplug it every morning when I leave.
This morning, when I unplugged my SC2 it was hard to make the plug move, and I saw that the SC2 melted around the plug. The USB power supply (an original SAMSUNG 1A) is dead also, but the SC2 seems to still be alive (but won't charge anymore). Anyway as the plastic is melted and deformed, the metal pins don't touch the pins on the helmet, so I can't hear anything in the speakers.
So, my first question : Has anyone had a similar issue with a Sena device ? My SC2 is not under guarantee anymore, so I think I juste have to buy another one :/
And, my second question, which may be a potential solution : I still have my 50C, but the Schubert C5 is pre-equipped with a SC2-only-compatible system. I always wanted to setup the 50C on my Schubert, but I can't find any way to do it. Does anyone have an idea ?
Thank you :)
