R1 evo helmets

I have 2 R1 M sp69 helmets that I just upgraded firmware on. One has version 1.0.5 and the other has 2.0.7. Why? How do these same exact helmets have different firmware?

  Hello,
  
  this is because of the manufacturing time frames, most of the stuff during C-19 had to have some changes so the chipsets are different therefor the firmware's are slightly different. although functionality is still the same, minus a feature like FM radio that was removed during the chip change.
