(Dave B) > Commenting on my own post above: I tried other modes, like voice command to dial from helmet to my iPhone, which always works great and reliably. No response at all. So, NO voice audio signals are going through.

    Hello Dave,

If your SENa 10S device is not transmitting microphone audio, there could be a few reasons for this. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Microphone Connection

    • Ensure that the microphone is properly connected to the device. If you’re using a modular microphone, check the connection points to ensure they’re securely plugged in.

    2. Adjust the Mic Sensitivity

    • If the mic sensitivity is set too low, it may not transmit audio correctly. Check the device’s settings and increase the microphone sensitivity to see if it resolves the issue.

    3. Check the Audio Input Source

    • Ensure that the correct audio input source is selected. Sometimes, devices default to other audio inputs (like a media player or external device) instead of the microphone.

    4. Reboot the Device

    • Turn off the SENa 10S, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can reset any temporary issues affecting the microphone transmission.

    5. Test the Microphone

    • Test the microphone separately with another device (e.g., a phone or another intercom system) to ensure that the microphone itself is working. If the mic is faulty, you may need to replace it.

    6. Check Firmware Updates

    • Make sure that your SENa 10S has the latest firmware installed. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause issues with audio transmission. Check for updates via the SENa app or website.

    7. Check Pairing and Connection

    • If you're using the SENa 10S in conjunction with another device (like a smartphone or another intercom), ensure that the pairing is active and that both devices are within range. Re-pairing the devices can sometimes resolve connection issues.

    8. Bluetooth Interference

    • Ensure that there are no sources of interference that could be affecting the Bluetooth signal. Try turning off any other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity.

    9. Reset to Factory Settings

    • If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset. This will erase all settings, so ensure you back up any important configurations before doing this.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to Sena customer support for further assistance or consider sending the unit in for repair.
