i can not update helmet intercom. device manager can not find it

The step where you ensure your power is on before connecting to the Sena Management Device does not work. As soon as it is plugged in, it says "Goodbye" and powers down. I am still stuck with this. Calling SENA now.

I have the same problem. The response about doesn't take into consideration the instructions in the update software requires the unit to be off. If you turn it on, it will go off as soon as you plug in the USB cable.

I will try this now. Your website instructions say to keep helmet OFF to update. I see lots of complaints about this issue, please fix instructions on website. 🙂

I just tried and helmet automatically turns off when plugging into computer. 🤷

I've succeeded!!! Just downloaded Boom Audio Device Maneger from Harley for my MAC and updated Harley Sena Outrush R helmet firmware from first hit and smoothly! Don't thank! 🤣🤣🤣
