SC2 Remote Control not connecting

Hello.

I have problems connecting my headset remote control. It's supposed to just go on with the click of the Center button, but it doesn't. Just to clarify, I'm talking about default the remote on the helmet, not the one sell for the handlebar.

My SC2 version is updated to the last firmware: 1.3 (Model SP101)

Tried everything:

• Fault reset both, SC2 Main and Remote Control
• Re-pairing remote control to the intercom (does not work)
• Replace battery (was brand new, but who knows)
• Factory reset the SC2

None of this work. 

Can this be related to one of the last firmware updates? Should I try to go back to an older version like 1.1?

I see more people having the same problem, but always no solution is given than resetting everything, which I already did and does not work.

Hope there is a solution for this. Paying 99€ for a new remote control is out of reach for me now.

  Yes sir, as stated on my initial post: "Repairing remote control (does not work)"

  After the "Remote control pairing callout", the headset starts to make that waiting noise "pirupiru, pirupiru", and no matter if you hold the plus button for 8 seconds, 10 or 1 minute, nothing happens.

  I’ve been struggling with my SC2 from the very beginning. It never worked reliably; sometimes it connected on the first try, but often it kept trying for the entire ride without success.

  Now it has completely stopped connecting.

  • I tried re-pairing multiple times → no luck.

  • I performed a factory reset on both the SC2 main unit and the remote → still won’t pair.

  • Without the remote, I can’t pair my phone, so the system is basically unusable.

  For such a costly unit, these issues are unacceptable. I also don’t understand why the remote isn’t physically connected to the main unit — it feels unnecessarily overengineered and only adds more points of failure.

  Has anyone found a permanent fix for this?
