Hello,
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with wind noise. With modular helmets, this can be tricky since they may not be fully sealed, or there might be too much headroom inside, allowing noise to get trapped. This can also happen with regular helmets.
What type of helmet do you have? Could you share the brand and model name?
Another thing you can try is switching to Mesh Intercom between you and your pillion instead of Bluetooth Intercom. Mesh generally offers better performance and could help improve your experience.

Hey Alex. Am using Neotec 2 and RPHA 90.
Did try out the mesh and yes it's better but mesh generally eats up battery.
Is there any way to have the option to off the noise cancelling?

Same problem, coming from 20SEvo and the 60s is not usable. Everytime over 50Km/h only distorted communication and you understand nothing.

Ich habe das selbe Problem.
Meine Frau und ich nutzen -ganz neu- das Sena 60 S.
Beide Geräte haben das neueste Update erhalten.
Bis zu einer Geschwindigkeit von 100 km/h ist es sehr gut, dann wird die Sprache immer mehr verstümmelt, abgehackt, Silben verschluckt, bis schließlich spätestens bei Tempo 120 nichts mehr verständlich ist, weder ich bei meiner Frau noch umgekehrt.
Von einem ganzen Satz kommen dann nur noch 2-3 halbe (!) Silben durch, keine vollständigen Wörter mehr.
Wir nutzen beide Integralhelme, Sie einen Shoei GT-Air2, ich einen X-Lite 551 Start.
Meiner Meinung nach liegt das Problem in der KI, die versucht, den Lärm heraus zu filtern und dabei dann auch anfängt die Sprache zu beschneiden.
Ab Tempo 110-120 km/h leider unbrauchbar...
Bitte fixen, das wäre toll.

Ich denke auch es liegt an der KI. Da wir offenen Helme fahren Bell Broozer ist es bei uns schon so, daß wir bei ca 60km/h nichts mehr verstehen.

Hi Sena support, I notice that there is an ANC button in the updated app, but it can't be activated? How to go about that?
Also with mesh, the AI noise cancelling is still interrupting the Comms especially above 70km/h.

Reading the above I can report same issues for my 60s. Colleagues using 50s and SC2 can still talk and hear each other, while my 60s seems to disrupt my speaking above certain speeds. Okay, I'm wearing a Klim Krios Pro helmet, known to be not the most silent helmet on the market, but that shouldn't bother, as I successfully used a 50C on same helmet without issues before.
AI supported ANC is new, so issues may be found in real life. Hope SENA is reading carefully and looking into such reports.

Angeblich ist die App defekt und die Einstellung für die Mikrofonempfändlichkeit beim 60s ohne Funktion. Mal abwarten....

Mit der neuen FW 1.1.3 konnte keine Verbesserung feststellen und der Sena Support hat auch keinen Rat.

Sena Support. Wie sieht es aus. 750eur für Headsets welche nicht funktionieren und es auch keinerlei Support gibt sind schon eine Frechheit

Hey Leute!
Ich habe das exakt gleiche Problem wie Dirk und Jörg, habe auch das 60S und ab 60 km/h kommt von mir nichts verständliches mehr an, nur noch abgehackte Silben, als Helm nutze ich nen Rpha 11, meinen Kollegen mit seinem günstigen Lexin B4FM verstehe ich bestens, auch wenn er über 100km/h fährt.
Ist da jetzt bald mal eine Lösung in Sicht? So macht das ganze Ding überhaupt keinen Sinn...

Bitte alle Tickets eröffnen mit Bezug zu diesem Forumseintrag. Es kann nur helfen wenn alle diese Probleme melden, scheinbar interessiert das niemandem bei Sena

Bonjour,
j'ai le même problème, road trip de 4 jours avec 5 intercom SENA ( 50S, SRL 3... et 60S ).
le 60S est inaudible pour les autres au dessus de 50-70 klm/h.
j'attend rapidement la mise à jours.
normalement la V1.1.6 devait améliorée ce problème....

A few months has passed and with all the new updates, was hoping that they manage to solve the issue. But nope, still choppy Comms anything above 60km/h.
Very disappointed to say the least.

Same problem! Sometimes anything over 60Kmh and no one can understand me, other times it can be a little higher but the problem is constant. I am using a full face Arai and never had any issues with my previous Interphone F5MC and Interphone U-COM 8R on the same helmet. I've tried Mesh 2.0, Mesh 3.0 and Bluetooth intercom, nothing makes any difference.
I had hoped with the frequent updates that this issue would be solved by now but 6 months later and still no sign of any improvement. What exactly is in these updates because there is certainly no performance improvements! Its a disgrace that a flagship model, at this price point, is unusable at any kind of speed.
For anyone reading this before purchasing, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I do not recommend buying this intercom.0 -
Wir haben beide Headsets mehrmals zurückgesetzt und alle möglichen Einstellungen probiert.
Ob bei offenem Helm oder geschlossen. Scheibe am Motorrad oben oder unten.
Ab 100km nur noch alles abgehackt.
Bei diesem hohen Preis eine Frechheit, wenn da nicht bald was geht.
SENA Support, bitte handeln.

Ich denke, es würde besser funktionieren, wenn man die KI, die das ganze steuern soll, entweder per Schieberegler abschwächen oder halt ganz ausschalten könnte. Besser, mit der Sprache Lärm zu hören, als gar keine Sprache ab einer gewissen Geschwindigkeit zu hören

Jörg Winkler still no solution was found? Have you tried to use additional wind protection (z.B. Windfell)?

es liegt nicht an den Windgeräuschen an sich. Und das Mikro hat bereits Schaumstoff. Die KI spricht ab einem gewissen Level zu hart an und verstümmelt die Sprache. In der kommenden Saison werde ich es noch weiter testen. Bis Tempo 120 km/h funktioniert es gut

Juan - Sena Support Passt doch die Software so an, dass man den Grad, wie die KI eingreift, per Schieberegler in der App einstellbar ist. Dann kann man wenigstens testen, bei welchem Verhältnis Straßen-Fahrgeräusche / KI und deren Grad der Sprachverstümmelung man die besten Ergebnisse erzielt. Ich hab lieber wie früher rauschen im Ohr und verstehe dafür jedes Wort, als dass es ruhiger ist im Ohr, ich aber auch nichts mehr verstehen kann.
