Hi, will the WAVE app also be available for the 50R headset? And if so, when?

  According to this article ...

  Legacy Sena models, such as the 50 series, will receive Wave Intercom UI functionality through a firmware update, concurrently with the public release of the app.  Other legacy models, such as Sena Mesh devices and smart helmets, will receive their firmware updates as early as January 2025.

  ..., the 50R should get full support for using Wave Intercom. So I hope the question is not "if" but "when" 🔮

  At the weekend we tested the Sena Wave with the 50S and 50C intercoms.
  After switching on the Wave, despite the short distance between us, we were unable to talk. All transmission was via the cellular network instead of MESH and it was severely cutting off our voice messages. Communication was unfortunately impossible. I don't know what this is caused by, but I think Sena still needs to work on this technology.
