60S Bluetooth configuration

And trying to get caught up to speed on configuration. Hoping for some guidance here. My goal is to set up an intercom pairing with my wife’s 60s. Separate and apart from that, I’d also like to pair with: a) my phone and b) my bikes bluetooth for GPS, AM/FM radio, satelite radio and AUX input (ipod). On the occasions that I might ride with other riders, my understanding is that I could use the mesh functionality to connect. The following quote from he 60s manual “The 60S can pair with multiple devices, including two mobile phones and one GPS.” Implies ability for 3 distinct bluetooth pairings. So far so good for my intended purpose. Yet, the very next sentence has me questioning… “However, it supports only one additional device, alongside a mobile phone, for simultaneous connection.” Can someone be kind enough to help me understand the meaning of this caveat? Thank you in advance!

  As you can guess, your device can pair up to 3 Bluetooth devices including 02 mobile phones and 01 GPS. You can only connect the headset to two devices at the same time: 01 phone and 01 other device (another phone or a GPS). In other words, that means it can only handle two at once. That's the simulataneous connection part.
