Freewire Power Off Delay
My Freewire is connected to ignition-activated power on my bike (pin connector) so that when the bike is turned on, the Freewire turns on as well. I leave my Freewire mounted to my bike semi-permanently.
When I turn on the ignition my Freewire powers on, but then when I start the bike it powers off for a couple of seconds - because the ignition turns off the power port during starting. This causes issues with pairing because the Freewire pairs, then disconnects then tries to pair again in quick succession. This can cause issues sometimes with the connection to my headset, forcing me to turn everything off, then back on in correct order.
What would work better, in my opinion, is to update the firmware to program the Freewire to stay on for 5 seconds after losing power to the PIN connector. If you did that, then it could survive the period of time that the starter motor is engaged and not have to reconnect to the headset, etc.
