SMH5-UNIV with Windows Phone 10 (Lumia 650 running latest updates).

Pairs and works fine.  I can listen to music and even use the voice recorder, which happily records from the Sena mic.

However, if I hit the phone button on the headset, Cortana loads up, then listens for a fraction of a second and reports "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear anything".  It looks like it can't access the microphone.  Skype also gives an error about not being able to use the mic.

Pretty sure this is a Windows Phone bug, but I'm wondering if there are any known workarounds for it.

Towards the end, Raymond Loscar posts a workaround for Windows Phone 8.1.  Sadly, the trick using Skype doesn't work on Windows Phone 10.

Does anybody have any suggestions?  I'll be ditching my Windows Phone for an Android model soon, but it'd be great if I could use my phone handsfree in the meantime!
