Garmin Zumo 660 to SMH5 pairing problems

Trying to connect a Zumo 660 to SMH5 for turn directions.  I have had them working just a few days ago.  Both have the most up to date firmware.  The garmin sees the SMH5, but gives a connection failure notice when I try to connect. Tried clearing all previous pairings but still won't work.

The garmin will connect to my iphone as will the SMH5, so the hardware is working ok.

  I can connect the Garmin with the headset, but then no longer talk to my wife. the garmin hear loud and clear. But both should work.
