Hi this unit works fairly well for most functions, radio, Music player , linking up with phone for calls texting and GPS,,. Only issue is as a communicator from bike to bike its a failure,,. It crackles with static really bad especially once you start moving, this noise problem is so loud it pretty much renders it useless,. It was bought as a set and the other one dosnt exhibit the same problems,,. Weve got the latest software loaded,,.
Is it possible this unit is defective?

Do yourself a favor and bring it back! none of the features work while using intercom! i have both the 20s and 30k, i purcahsed the 30k thinking it was the latest and greatest, only to find out i wasted my money! i should have gone with scala rider packtalk bold (ive read only good things about it) but now im stuck with this garbage.
