20s evo v2-0 issues

Hello All

I tried upgrading the 20s evo to the latest fimrware v2-0. I faced the following issues.

1) The firmware after upgrade would show both the previous v1-7-7 with a slash continued with v2-0 on the device manager

2) Even after upgrade the device manager would again prompt for an upgrade. After upgarding multiple times, still it asks to upgrade. Tried factory reset and the button reset but the problem persists.

3) The bluetooth would not turn on at all after the update

4) The battery light would show full but the unit wont start.

  20s EVO running 2.0 upgrade.

   

  I'm getting the same issues. Unit will NOT power up when connected to clip on the helmet, but will if not. I've reset the unit but so far nothing has fixed the problem. Unit seems to charge up really quickly.

  Hi Guys,

  My issue is i can't register my unit therefore i cant update my firmware to 2.0.. did you encounter same problem with your unit?

  I  had the same issues as Gary.  The unit would not power up if attached to the clip on the helmet but would power up if unclipped.  I reset it back to 1.7 and unit started working again.

  I had to upgrade the firmware on my Freewire before the dashboard would recognize my 20S headset device, then it upgraded the 20S without a problem.

  I also had issues when I upgraded to v2.0 just recently. 

  My issues were that the FM Radio would cut out completely and had to restart multiple times to get it to work again, and the same issue with bluetooth.

  I'm downgrading back to v1.7 as it worked perfectly.

  updated to v2.0 on the sena s20 ,i would suggest not to, v1.7 was perfect ,

  Here is the issue i found today ,bmw Gs1200 with Garmin gps

  number 1 = headset on would not connect to Gps when turning on bike had to turn sena off the on again to connect ,to play music via garmin .

  number 2=while riding and speaking to my mate and listening to music it would lower the music as per normal but after a while when he was quiet it would not go back to playing music .

  so i'm going back to v1.7.

  good luck guys v2.0 ,is a bad updater elease .
