The wildland fire community in the USA would benefit greatly from a communication system that links our radios to hearing protection. This would allow our sawyers to maintain a fluid link of communication with all fire personnel. This link of communication does not exist and is a safety concern. There are a few options on the market but none as sophisticated as the SENA SR10 and SMH10-11. Over the next few years the wildland fire community is undergoing a transition from the older Bendix King Digitial radios to the newer BK KNG P-150 radio. A connector created from the BK KNG P-150 to the SR10 would highly benefit the wildland fire program in the USA.
