10c Evo Firmware/Software FAIL!
Failure of the device to connect in 5g to a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Failure of your computer software to recognize that the device has already received the the latest firmware update.
Failure of your device to be recognized in as anything other then "Other Device" and it would not read the SD Card. in windows file explorer.
once connected to the App the app constantly needed to reconnect to the device.(not the WiFi. WiFi stayed connected)
20+ minutes to download one 20minute 1080p file over 5g connection. I have downloaded full movies faster on 2.4 connections.
Your firmware/software and hardware connection sucks!
Perfect your software before upgrading the gadgetry of your hardware.

I have a pixel 3 and similar problems with 1.1.1 c10 evo, and was told that the it is not compatible with the pixel 3. I.E. the flag ship de facto standard googles flagship of android phones. Also noticed that the camera app setting there has duplicate settings two pages of the settings repeated. I don't know if that's related.
Perform a factory reset of your device, that appears to help. They said that the update should perform a factory reset and does not. I'm not positive if this solved the disconnect issue or not, it appears to have helped (same issue, not the wifi disconnect I had at first). Also the same expirience with downloading video files, very slow. Is that a 1.1.1 issue or just how the device is? I only had the device for a day, and updated almost immediately, so I don't know what issues are the device vs issues with the new firmware.0 -
I just bought a 10C evo on 1st april. Upon purchase, I have these list of problems and I am not sure if it is normal.
1) after I left turn on the video, it keeps lagging and restart. ( I’m using iphone 11 pro)
2) the second day when I tried to use again, they keep prompting wrong password when I tried to connect ( this happens the day when you guys tried to assemble) which I restart a few times again before I can use
3) now I can’t connect the wifi to the camera as there’s no wifi shown on the camera
4) I tried to restart a few times and reset the 10c evo but theres no 10c wifi name indicated on my phone
5) I then tried to update the evo through my computer. Then it prompt sd card failed. I used another laptop and also sd card. Also couldn’t.6) However my bluetooth com works perfectly. only problem I have is with the camera and wifi.
These are the things I have done.
1) factory reset
2) format sd card
3) fault reset
Anyone knows how to do a wifi channel change?

My 10C EVO is now broken... again.
I tried to upgrade to firmware 1.2, suddenly it stopped at 80% and now I cannot turn on the camera!!!! After 3 seconds it turns off by itself.
I cannot even to format the SD card because you need 5 seconds with the camera button and, as I told, it turn off in 3 seconds.
I did the Factory reset and the Fault reset, nothing change.
Very frustating!!!

Sena changed my device.
After arriving, they told me I could update the firmware. Same issue!!!!
I could revert it by installing the 1.1 firmware, I had a copy of this version on my pc.
This is crazy

HI
I have another new pixel 3, which has a giant list of issues, but that is not the point of this comment. I recently upgraded to a 10C evo. The headset connects to my pixel 3 fine, ie calls, music etc. However, the camera will not connect. I go through the steps, once I get to Wifi, I enter the password and the camera says initializing. Then stops and goes back to the "connect camera" page on the phone app. Oddly enough, the 10C evo connects in seconds to my old pixel 2 for calls, music and camera.
Went back and forth with sena for a couple of weeks, they say they can get a 10c evo to connect to a pixel 3 in their secret headquarters...
I have factory reset the 10c evo, i have deleted and downloaded both apps to the phone (utility and camera app). I have factory reset the pixel 3 and the pixel 2, but same results. Sena says its my brand new phone.
spent a coupe weeks in limbo with google. They are now sending me another new pixel 3.
We will see if this sena 10cevo will connect with my new pixel 3 when I get it tomorrow.
last thing - the camera will connect with my pixel 3 if the pixel 3 is in airplane mode. Which is great for the camera but bad for using the phone for anything else....anyone have any thoughts or similar situation?

I also have exactly the same situation with my new Evo 10C ( but no problems with my Pixel 3, which I have had for many months.
I telephoned Sena support in Germany & during the call they said that Google Pixel 3 was special ( not in a good way ) ...and at one point suggested I purchased another handset of a different manufacturer ( eg:- an old Samsung or Apple phone ) to get round the problem .... my wife's Samsung Galaxy works fine and connects in seconds
It's clear to me that Sena have a known issue with the wifi connection between the 10C & a Google Pixel 3 but cannot ( or are unwilling to spend the time to ) resolve the issue as they said it was a problem with the phone.
Paul, did your new Pixel 3 fix the issue?
Thanks

So, I am now partially operational, or rather as operational as I believe this headset will be with a pixel 3. FYI - google was NO help in resolving the issue, they looked and ultimately sent me not one but two replacement phones.
1) there was initially an issue between my original pixel 3 and my 10C. Not sure what it was, but that specific handset was flawed and went away.
2) I finally received a new factory fresh pixel 3. I rebuilt/reloaded it from scratch as to avoid transferring any system corruption from old to new pixel.
3) i added apps one by one to look for app conflicts, there were none.
4) what I can now surmise. The 10C evo headset connects flawlessly via bluetooth for all voice, music, intercom features, I like it significantly better than my 20S, including the mounting. The detachable cord is more "watertight" than the old metal pin connectors that would eventually get wet in rain conditions and cause connectivity faults.
4a) connecting for video/pictures. While the headset connects via bluetooth, the camera connects via wifi. You can use one or the other but not both at the same time. I have to put my phone in airplane mode to make the camera connect so that I can view the images live on my phone while in use. Sena says this is the way it is supposed to work. But doing this makes my phone otherwise inoperable due to no connection, and therefore, I can not use GPS or listen to music or speak on a call via headset. This is not acceptable for riding. This was a major hit for me, and maybe I assumed incorrectly that I would be able to view the camera and use the phone at the same time, Sena says that is not the case. I suggested that this should be disclosed in marketing.
5) I will note, that with the headset connected via bluetooth, the camera still works, you can take pics, you can record video, but you cant see it live on your screen, so you have to assume you are in frame etc. The ability to see this live was a big thing for me, but maybe no one else.0
