Yes I have the exact same problem.  Im on a 50s and my father is on a 20s Evo and it sounds like theres popcorn or a connection issue when we use bluetooth intercom.  If I switch to my 20s (the original one) the issue is resolved.  I think its a problem with my 50s because I leave everything the same and simply swap the main unit.  Did you ever get this resolved?  Its driving me insane.

I have the same problem I bought the dual pack of the 50s and I have my ods dual pack 20s. They connect fine, but only my headset get the loud crackle and pop sounds. I thought it was just because of the 20s my son has on.So I rode a with him separately and got the loud sounds, then I rode with my daughter with the other new 50s and still ha d the popping sounds. So it doesn't matter who are what sena I'm connected to, only I get the loud popping sounds. I am the one that paris us all together. I also have updated all of units. Both 50s ar v 1.0.4 and the 20s is v 2.0.4. I never had this problem with my 2 20s. I didn't have this problem this summer with my other riders with a 20 evo and another new 50s. It's only been with my kids. I need help!

Update: Sena Tech contacted me and told me to do a factory reset after the firmware update. I did, and it solved the problem. In the Sena manager app it should tell you there to factory reset after each firmware update. Sena said they would check into that. However, there are other videos and tutorials on how to update the Sena device and it does mention it on some. I thought factory reset meant it put it back to the original way it came from the box, but it doesn't do that. Now my 50s works great.

I am starting to wonder if maybe we got a defective batch or something.  I feel like this would be talked about way more if it was firmware related.  I am thinking its hardware.

Hi everyone. Once the Bluetooth Intercom Audio Multitasking feature is enabled on the 50S then the intercom mode will automatically be switched to "Normal" mode. This mode has a reduced audio quality and is more susceptible to interference but it allows you to listen to your music while talking to someone over the intercom who does not have a Mesh Intercom enabled headset. If the Bluetooth Intercom Audio Multitasking feature is disabled then the 50S and the 20S EVO can connect to each other and communicate using HD Intercom which is higher quality and has a more stable connection.

Two 20S's / 20S EVO's connected together over the intercom do not use "Normal" mode as the HD Intercom feature is used by default which provides a higher quality and more stable method of communication.

I have 2 of the 30K and both have the issue as the others above when talking with 20S users. I will try try disabling the Audio Multitasking feature. I don't listen to music anyway.
