Sena 10U - Neotec Integration - Can't update - Not recognized
After 2 years of ownership, this issue continues. Again unable to recognize the 10U for the software update. On macOS 10.15 and every year it's the same dance. Tried different cables, adapters, resets and nothing works. I guess I will have to try on my friends PC as I did last year, but this is really ridiculous. 1K for a helmet, 500$ on the Sena and always a pain... wow.

Same here, beyond frustrating! Doing the attempt to update for 3 years. Now I bought my son the exact make, model, and brand Sena SMH10 .
Should have been 5 seconds to pair the exact 2 units together but NO.
Followed the instructions to a tea-no go. Factory reset- no go. Tried to update software-no go. Now I'm pissed. I have a $350 set of paperweights.
Techs are useless. All they do is send you a video on how to pair which is the exact same information as the instructions. Then tell you to do a factory reset.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled, switched usb cables, restarted computer, Tried to use a different computer.
Keep getting Failed to recognize device. Then after many attempts sometimes Can't communicate with server, Then optical disk corrupted.
In this day and age how can this be so hard?
I'm truly tempted to take the loss throw them in the garbage and go with another brand.
