I have been getting the same beep you get when you reach max volume on the jog wheel when I turn my head. At first I thought it was clothes turning the wheel but it happened even when riding in just a t-shirt. I tried jiggling cables hoping to recreate it with no luck. Is there any chance it is related to the volume being at the top setting? Some other thing I am not smart enough to think of?
