Better MESH functionality
I’m a long time Sena user, currently using the Harley Davidson Boom 50S Audio, paired to my Harley touring bike for phone, audio & CB. When my wife was riding her own bike we would toggle between connecting with the bike for music, etc. and Bluetooth for private communications when needed, then back to the bike. She doesn’t ride anymore but now my riding friends, most with WHIM equipped Harley’s, have moved to Sena BT headsets. We do not want to stay “live” full time as we all also enjoy our music, etc. BT pairing for these units is limited to only 4 connections and requires a series of actions to connect all 4 at the same time. 1 to 1 conversations are simple enough, but we need to communicate as a group, often as many as 6-8 riders.
This is where MESH is attractive as an alternative to CB, but currently it is only available when everyone has MESH enabled and there is no way to alert everyone to do turn it on when they are listening to a different source. If I need to communicate with the group, they have no way to know to switch MESH on, to hear or participate in the com. If you can fix this, it would be great.

Some Sena devices do have a feature called "Mesh Reach Out" that is designed exactly for that purpose. For example, the Sena 50S and 60S models both have it.
However....Harley-Davidson headsets feature proprietary software that delivers different features compared to non-Harley headsets. This is a intentional feature differentiation requested by H-D. And the Mesh Reach Out is not a feature they requested on their branded version of the 50S.
To address your concerns regarding this differentiation, please submit a feature request to Harley and if Harley will open this topic up Sena will support their requests.
Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!
