RC4 “Remote Control Disconnected"

I have the SENA RC4 Remote on my bars and this is connected to my Schuberth C4 Pro helmet with SENA (Schuberth branded) headset. I paired the Headset and Remote using the Pairing in the headset and it has work flawlessly for several months. However, recently I get the message  “Remote Control Disconnected” ten some time later i get the message “Remote Control Connected” - this disconect and connect happens several times during a ride meaning very often I am unable to use the remote to chat to pillion, adjust volume etc. 

I have changed the battery just in case this was the problem but this has not resulted in any difference to the connect and disconnect problem.

With a long European trip imminent, two up, I need to get this matter sorted as soon as possible, so I can retain comms with my wife on the back seat. Please can you help

  Hi David,

  Have you tried a factory reset of the RC4?  That may correct the connection issues.  It's possible you may need to delete the pairing from the C4 as well, if that can be done.
