Instead of making the connector more flexible, I recommend moving it to the side of the clamp unit, just above and parallel to the SENA logo. Then it is out of harm's way altogether.

I purchased and love to use the clamp kit for ear buds. Unfortunately the plastic tube that receives the ear but plug has bends when ever I remove my helmet and put it on my motorcycle seat. It has...
