FYI guys. A ear bud cable is now listed in the accessories tab of the 10r for 6 bucks. I ordered one last night. SS

Don't misunderstand, I can hear it BUT just not as well as I would expect. A earbud adapter will do wonders for this unit and as another user proved it can be done easily.

My input as a new SMH10R user. I have a Shoei GT Air wit the speaker installed in the pockets properly and securely. This is one of, if the, quietest helmets out there now.  I use a Galaxy Note II ...
