On mine (S4), parrot car kit works absolutely fine and does what I need. Agreed, Sena works when screen is unlocked, but looked no dice.

Well... perhaps it's the tone of your notes? I raised a ticket, had a response in 24 hours and we're progressing it now. It's still not working for me, but I can't fault the customer service..
