I'm having essentially the same problem with a Nuvi 765t and the 20s.  Used to have no problem with the SMH10.  Repairing each time you turn on the 20S is not fun.

I too have experienced dropped pairing with my Nuvi 765t.  What a pain!

I agree with your entire assessment having experienced the same issues as you.  Hope someone from Sena is monitoring this forum thread.
