A Bluetooth Profile is a set of standards that facilitates connection between devices. For example, if you want to use a Bluetooth headset on your smartphone, and use it for calls, both devices must support the Hands-Free Profile (HFP).
These are the lists of Bluetooth Profiles supported by Sena products to facilitate connection with other Bluetooth devices:
HFP (Hands-Free Profile) - This profiles allows the connection with Mobile Phones and Standalone GPS devices.
HSP (Headset Profile) - This is the most commonly used profile, providing support for popular Bluetooth headsets to be used with mobile phones. Allows for minimal controls of a mobile phone including the ability to ring, answer a call, hang up and adjust the volume.
A2DP (Advance Audio Distribution Profile) - This profile is used to connect with media devices in order to hear music or GPS apps on your smartphone.
AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) - This profile allows the headset to remotely control music playback. You can also use the functions such as play, pause, next track and previous track. This Profile works in conjunction with the A2DP Profile.
ICP (Intercom Profile) - This profile is used for connecting two or more Bluetooth headsets together for communication in full duplex.
