Sena 20S hearing problems?
Hello, I am on my second Sena 20S headset, (Sena said my first defective), and it still does the same thing. I have it paired to my iPhone, and when I tell Sena to play Music, it plays music. However, while playing music, it will NEVER hear any commands no matter what I do! I have to push the Ambient button to get it to "Say a Command". So, I am asking anyone out there that has a similar setup, does you Sena respond to commands while playing music from your cell phone??

Thanks for responding Khaledkhamis! Yes, according to Sena support, it is...they already sent me a new unit because the old unit wouldn't do it. Now this new unit won't either. It does say in the manual that in Standby mode, if after one minutes you're not speaking, it will cut the mic off. You have to push the Ambient button to get it to listen again. However, it will NEVER listen when music is playing from your phone!

Yes, but it doesn't work! Neither does Stop! Only when I press the Ambient button will Sena listen!

I have found that "Hello Sena" only works for a limited time, 2 minutes or something after switching the headset on.
After that you need to double tap the unit, or use the ambient button to enable voice commands.
I think this is actually the intended functionality.
Page 31 of the manual appears to state this.
Listening to music would be "Non-Standby" mode as described in #2. and there is a time limit stated in #3.

After giving the voice command "Hello Sena" during standby mode, the microphone will no longer be able to respond to a command after 1 minute. This is to prevent the microphone from always being active while riding to save battery life. After 1 minute of saying "Hello Sena" you need to tap the Ambient Mode Button once or double tap the unit of the 20S as indicated in the manual.
In addition, the voice command system needs to be activated using the Ambient Mode Button or double tapping the unit of the 20S while a function, like listening music is already in use. Saying "Hello Sena" to activate the voice command feature can only be used during standby mode.
