Bluetooth transmitter
Hi. Has anyone any experience with using a bluetooth Transmitter/receiver, that are cheap and easily available to send a radar detector audio signal to either the GPS, or second phone position?
I have used a walkytalky bluetooth transmitter for a few years now with great success. I can have phone and intercom on, and the radar signal will cut in over the other signals, then drop off again once audio signal stops, reverting back to phone/intercom.
My idea was to fit a bluetooth transmitter under the seat, that would power up when bike turned on, and work the same way as the walkytalky one does. But it doesn't.
I can pair the new transmitters, and it will send a signal to the Sena, but I then cannot operate the phone controls for music. It appears to hold onto. and not release the signal, even if I remove the audio input to the transmitter.
Anyone out there tried the same thing, and had success?
Thanks in advance.

SENA devices all have function priority, with mobile phone function taking the lead on the list of functions, then intercom, etc, then music being last. (see your device manual for other listed functions if applicable)
so this is why you are having issues with that.

Hi Alex.
Thanks for your reply, but doesn’t make sense. As explained, I already have the priorities working correctly, but with the later transmitters, it works, but won’t release once signal stops. Could it be that the 20s’s are an older generation Bluetooth, and not compatible with V5.0?0 -
have you tried using something like this? Amazon.com: SENA SM10 DUAL STREAM BLUETOOTH STEREO TRANSMITTER (SM10-01) : Electronics
